Elizabeth Rushton

I am Associate Professor of Education at the Institute of Education, UCL's Faculty of Education and Society, where I lead the MA Education programme. My research interests are in geography and science education, specifically the professional development of teachers, student participation in research and environmental education. After completing a PhD in geography, I trained and worked as a secondary school geography teacher. Prior to joining UCL, I estalished and led the first PGCE geography programme at King's College London.
