Erin Hanna is an Associate Professor in Department of Cinema Studies at the University of Oregon where she teaches classes on media industries, television studies, and fandom. Her book, Only at Comic-Con: Hollywood, Fans, and the Limits of Exclusivity (Rutgers University Press), examines the connection between exclusivity and the proliferation of Hollywood promotion over the history of the San Diego Comic-Con.
