Etienne Billette de Villemeur

Etienne Billette de Villemeur is a professor of economics at the University of Lille and a researcher at the LEM (UMR-9221 CNRS). He is also associated with UQAM, Canada - as well as with the Chaires Universitaires Toussaint Louverture, in Haiti, where he is collaborating for more than 10 years with several higher education institutions. His research touches at times fundamental questions, such as the consequences of climate change in the light of theories of justice, but also more applied issues, such as water pricing in Port-au-Prince. Thanks to his multiple collaborations, he is also the author of publications in other disciplines, including in life sciences.
