Ffion Thomas

Ffion is a PhD student at the University of Central Lancashire's International Football Institute, researching the use of visual imagery of heritage and nostalgia around football club ground moves. She is a co-instigator of The Sporting Statues Project, based at the University of Sheffield, which has sought to investigate the prevalence and motives behind statues of sportspeople around the world.
