Francesca Rendle-Short

Professor, RMIT University

Francesca Rendle-Short is Professor of Creative Writing in the School of Media and Communication at RMIT University. She is co-founder of non/fictionLab research group and WrICE (Writers Immersion and Cultural Exchange), currently CI on the ARC Discovery grant Connecting Asia Pacific Literary Cultures: Grounds for Encounter and Exchange (DP210102478 ). Her five books include The Near and the Far (Vol I and II), and Bite Your Tongue. She is interested in a writing practice that seeks to subvert normative practices, one focused on ethical enquiry.
