Gemma Perry is a postdoctoral researcher at Bond University, focused on the psychological and physiological effects of chanting. She is also a dedicated yoga and meditation teacher, who has completed her Honours, Master of Research, and PhD in the psychology of chanting at Macquarie University. Gemma primarily investigates how chanting specific sounds can decrease psychological and physiological stress, enhance social connection, and ultimately expand states of awareness. Through her research, she aims to provide evidence-based support for the therapeutic potential of chanting.
