Postdoctoral Fellow in Public Health, University of Saskatchewan

I am an experienced health researcher and policy analyst with a diverse skill set adept at addressing complex issues. Through over 20 years of experience in the Saskatchewan healthcare system and beyond, at both the direct delivery and program planning level, I have gained an in-depth understanding of our healthcare system that now informs my approach to developing new research questions.
I have worked on a variety of provincial, national and international research, program planning and evaluation projects ranging from public health nutrition, fetal alcohol spectrum disorder, autism, homecare, long-term care, physician remuneration, food security to immigrant children’s health status.
I am passionate about understanding current issues related to healthcare disparities to develop options for moving past barriers to progress. I am interested in collaborating with researchers across Canada and internationally on diverse health and healthcare system issues in pursuit of equity and justice.
