Glen Hvenegaard

Dr. Hvenegaard's research interests include protected areas, ecotourism, environmental education, bird biogeography, and rural sustainability. He is a member of the World Commission on Protected Areas and a fellow with LEAD International (Leadership for Environment and Development). He and Elizabeth Halpenny received a 5-year SSHRC Insight Grant to investigate the effectiveness of personal interpretation programs in Alberta's provincial parks.
