Political staffer from 1989-1999 for various Liberal ministers and premiers. Ran 1999 Republic Referendum campaign and Chair of the ARM 2000-02. Quit the Liberal Party over asylum seeker issues in 2002 and briefly joined Australian Democrats. Author of three books: What's Wrong with the Liberal Party (2003); Selling the Australian Government (2005) w Anna Krawec-Wheaton An Australian Republic (2006). Sessional Lecturer RMIT Graduate School of Business and Law since 20014 teaching Statutory Interpretation; Jurisprudence and International Law.
