Diaz-Pulido is Associate Professor at the School of Environment and Science, and a member of the Coastal and Marine Research Centre and Australian Rivers Institute, Griffith University (Brisbane, Australia). Diaz-Pulido received a Bachelor’s degree in Colombia and his PhD from James Cook University, Australia, in Marine Botany. He leads the Coral Reef Algae Laboratory and currently focusses on investigating the physiological and ecological effects of anthropogenic activities in tropical coral reef algae.
