Dr. Helen Barrie is a Research Fellow and the Deputy Director of the Hugo Centre for Migration and Population Research at the University of Adelaide, where she has worked as a researcher for more than 10 years. Dr. Barrie’s work has a focus on the changing demography of Australia’s population, with particular attention to the ageing of our population and population diversity, and the implications of these changes for society and local communities, particularly in rural and regional Australia.
