Ian Christopher Davis

Professor of Veterinary Medicine, The Ohio State University

i am a veterinary medical professor and researcher at the College of Veterinary Medicine. I have been been involved in viral infectious disease research since being a veterinary student (1990). I have studied veterinary pathogens (canine parvovirus, feline coronavirus, and bovine viral diarrhea virus), simian and human immunodeficiency viruses, and pulmonary pathogens (hantavirus and RSV). My current research is focused on influenza viruses and how they cause severe lung injury. I also lecture on virology to veterinary and graduate students.
