Ittima Cherastidtham

Fellow, Higher Education Program, Grattan Institute

Ittima is an economist working as the fellow on the higher education program at the Grattan Institute. She is a co-author of the Grattan Institute reports ‘Mapping Australian higher education, 2014-15’ (2014), ’Doubtful debt: the rising cost of student loans’ (2014) and ‘Taking university teaching seriously’ (2013).

Prior to joining Grattan Institute, Ittima worked for the Melbourne Institute of Applied Economic and Social Research at the University of Melbourne.

Ittima completed her Master of Economics at the University of Melbourne where she also gained Bachelor degrees in Commerce and Software Engineering (Hons).
