Professor Emeritus, Kinesiology and Physical Education, Adjunct Scientist, Division of Cardiology, Mt. Sinai Hospital, University of Toronto

I am a Professor Emeritus of Kinesiology at the University of Toronto, in the Faculty of Kinesiology and P.E, and have a staff appointment in the Division of Cardiology, UHN/Mt. Sinai Hospital. My research interests include cardiac function during acute and chronic exercise, cardiac and vascular responses to exercise training, and cardiovascular risks of exercise. Our current research projects are attempting to understand the factors that may increase risk of certain cardiac arrhythmias in long-standing endurance athletes and cardiac and pulmonary hemodynamic responses to exercise in healthy, trained and clinical population.
