Senior Lecturer, Criminology, Murdoch University

I completed an undergraduate - BA (Hons) in psychology before embarking on a PhD in the area of forensic psychology. I finished my PhD in 2006 and then completed a Graduate Diploma in Tertiary Education in 2007. My research area of interest is in child abuse, child neglect and child homicide.

I teach in the overlap between psychology and law and try to instil in my students an understanding of social, psychological and biological causes of behaviour. More importantly, I try to encourage healthy critical analysis of the criminal justice system.
