Starting with first academic job at the University of Texas' Medical Branch in Galveston have written and taught in law & medical schools on issues of human subject research. Member of Vaccine Institute at UTMB and more recently part of biodefense center at Texas Tech Law and Co-PI on biodefense grant. Teach human subject research and public health law. Currently writing the first Nutshell on Human Subject Research for West Publishing.
