Jenny Parkes

My work focuses on education, gender and violence against young people. Currently, I co-direct CEID, the Centre for Education and International Development, at IOE, UCL’s Faculty for Education and Social Science.

My research explores the relationships between violence, intersecting inequalities, subjectivity and education. My recent research collaborations are in Uganda, Ethiopia, Zambia, Togo, Cote d’Ivoire, Kenya, Ghana and Mozambique.
