Postdoctoral Researcher, University of Tasmania

Jimin Hwang received the B.E. degree (Hons.) in naval architecture from the Australian Maritime College (AMC), University of Tasmania, Launceston, TAS, Australia, in 2016. She's completed the Ph.D. degree in maritime engineering with AMC. Her project involves algorithm development of in-situ data-driven adaptive systems to control an AUV for tracking an oil plume. Her research interests include application of underwater robots for marine environmental problems, development of sensor-based reacting systems, and the design of articial intelligence autonomous-decision making systems for marine robots.
