I am a PhD student interested in comparative and developmental psychology. Broadly speaking, I examine how our problem-solving abilities develop throughout childhood, and how they differ to those of other animals'. In my PhD I examine how we can encourage young children to make more efficient tools and innovate more. I do this by comparing their performance to that of our closest living relative, chimpanzees . I also have a keen interest in moral psychology.
