Lauren Owens

Dr. Owens is an obstetrician/gynecologist with specialist training in complex family planning and abortion care. Her research focuses on implementing trauma-informed care into medical education and clinical settings. She has also worked to implement reproductive health care services into clinical services for people with substance use disorders. Her work aims to decrease barriers to care and improve patient-centeredness of sensitive care for vulnerable populations.
