I have a Doctorate in Education Policy, Leadership, and Instructional Practice and a Masters in Education Policy and Management from Harvard University; and a Masters in Teaching from Columbia University. I am a Council Member of the Harvard Club of Australia.
I started my career as a school teacher in disadvantaged schools in New York City's Bronx and Harlem. Since then, I have worked in various research capacities at the American Academy of Arts and Sciences (US), the Business Higher Education Forum (US), the RAND Corporation (US), and the Centre for New Public Education (Aus.).
