Lisa Gowthorp

I have worked at Bond University since 2012 teaching into the Sport Management Program. My areas of specialty are: High performance sport management, The Olympic Games, Government involvement in high performance sport and issues impacting high performance sport (eg doping, poor governance etc).
I have previously worked for over 14 years in high performance sport in organisations such as the NSWIS and the AIS; and with sports such as Swimming, Gymnastics and Sprint Canoe/Kayak. I have served on the board of Sliding Sports Australia and Sport Management Australia and New Zealand (SMAANZ) and currently serve on the Board of Paddle Australia and UniSport.
