Non-communicable disease (e.g. diabetes, heart disease) disproportionally affect those living in socio-economic hardship further accelerated by inadequate immediate and long-term care. I’m a post-doctoral research fellow with a strong focus on exercise and lifestyle interventions in the management and prevention of non-communicable disease for those living in low-resourced settings working towards a future where health is a reflection of choices rather than circumstances.
