Mary Barrett

Mary is a Professor of Management at the School of Management, Operations and Marketing at the University of Wollongong, Australia where she teaches general management, human resource management, business communication, and business research methods. She is currently supervising 5 doctoral students. Mary’s research interests include business communication, family business, gender in management and entrepreneurship. She speaks English as a first language, but also speaks French and some German.

Mary has research links with several academic research organizations in management, entrepreneurship, and gender issues in a variety of countries. She is also a board member of the New South Wales branch of Family Business Australia.
