Professor; Head of the School of Anatomical Sciences, University of the Witwatersrand

I studied medicine, but then specialized in biological anthropology (working on the skeletal remains from Mapungubwe). Recently I specialized more in forensic anthropology. I was the Director of the Forensic Anthropology Research Centre at UP until I joined Wits three months ago. Current research interests include skeletal identification and craniofacial identification. I am currently the president of the IACI (International Association for Craniofacial Identification)
