Matthew Condon is an award-winning author of several novels, works of non-fiction, and is the two-time winner of the Steele Rudd Award for short fiction. His novels include The Motorcycle Café, The Pillow Fight and The Trout Opera. Three Crooked Kings is the first of two explosive investigative accounts about former Queensland Police Commissioner Terry Lewis, and crime and corruption in Queensland and NSW over a half-century. The second book, All Fall Down, will be released in late 2013 and looks set to be even more of a sensation – charting Lewis’ rise to the top and his spectacular fall from grace, through to his time in prison – Condon has had extraordinary access to Lewis’ 2500 page secret prison diary.
