Postdoctoral Research Associate, UCL

I am a postdoctorate researcher working for the Department of Statistical Science at University College London (UCL) and a member of the cross-department UCL centre for Computational Statistics and Machine Learning.

I am working on an EPSRC funded multi-site project incorporating Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Ubiquitous Computing, Ethnography, Computational Statistics and Inference, and Formal Methods for probabilistic models.

I am focused on the analysis of data from globally deployed smart device applications. While my work is quantitative in nature, it is guided by (and in-turn guides) investigations of a qualitative nature. The ultimate goal is to deliver a new science of software structures, with design, theory and tools that reflect software in real world use, and able to tackle the complex problem of how to design to support change and appropriation.
