Matthew is a Lecturer in the School of Civil Engineering at The University of Queensland. He as previously held academic positions at The University of Sydney and QUT. Matthew’s key areas of interest and expertise lie in the fields of wind engineering; stochastic modelling of natural hazards (primarily convective storms and tropical cyclones); catastrophe loss modelling for natural hazards; computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modelling; and wind tunnel testing and analysis.
