Senior Lecturer, School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, University of Adelaide

Matthew Sorell is Senior Lecturer in Telecommunications and Multimedia Engineering in the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Adelaide. He is been a consultant to the telecommunications industry for over 15 years, specialising in the intersection between technology, policy and commercial interests. His research interests are primarily in the forensic analysis of digital communications. In 2009 he was awarded a Citation for Excellence in Teaching by the Australian Learning and Teaching Council. In his spare time, he enjoys ringing church bells in the English change-ringing tradition, and is President of the Australian and New Zealand Association of Bellringers.
