Dr Melanie Davern is Director of Community Indicators Victoria and Senior Research Fellow at the McCaughey VicHealth Centre of Community Wellbeing, Melbourne School of Population and Global Health. Her research interests focus on community and individual wellbeing with specific expertise in the development and use of community wellbeing indicators as a measurement tool for policy development, program evaluation and community engagement. Melanie has extensive expertise in the development and construction of indicators for social and community planning, worked closely with a range of government and community partners and is passionate about using data as a catalyst for action.
