Melissa J. Armstrong

Associate Professor, Neurology, University of Florida

Dr. Armstrong is a neurologist who specializes in Lewy body dementia. She directs the Mangurian Clinical-Research Headquarters for Lewy Body Dementia at the University of Florida Norman Fixel Institute for Neurological Diseases, recognized as a Lewy Body Dementia Association Research Center of Excellence. Her research focuses on the lived experience of Lewy body dementia, including improving recognition, care for people living with the disease and caregivers, and end-of-life experiences.
