Merryn is an Advanced Accredited Practising Dietitian with over 25 years clinical experience working with young children and their families to help manage a range of complex dietary needs. She is an expert in translating the science of nutrition into the practical aspects of the food that we place on our plates.
Merryn’s PhD program investigated nutritional strategies for prevention, diagnosis and treatment of allergy, with a specific focus on egg allergy. Her post doctoral work with the Centre of Food and Allergy Research and the Healthy Mothers, Babies and Children's theme of the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute focuses on the influence of early life nutrition on long term health, particularly development of allergy. Merryn is an Affiliate Lecturer of the University of Adelaide.
