Michelle Leishman

Distinguished Professor, Director of Smart Green Cities, Macquarie University

Michelle Leishman leads a research lab in the Department of Biological Sciences at Macquarie University. Her primary research interests are vegetation responses to climate change, invasive species, urban greening and plant conservation. Michelle is Director of Macquarie's Smart Green Cities. She is a Board member of Bush Heritage Australia, Royal Botanic Gardens and Domain Trust and Council member of the Australian Flora Foundation.
