Miguel Taín Guzmán

Dr. Taín’s research embraces the heritage of the Way of Saint James, the Cathedral of Compostela, the city of Santiago and pilgrimage in numerous journal publications and books: Studi Secenteschi, Studi di Storia dell’Arte, Construction History Journal, International Journal of Architecture Heritage, Quintana, Locus Amoenus, Informes de la Construcción, Archivo Español del Arte, Goya, Mitteilungen des Kunsthistorischen Institutes in Florenz, Ricerche di storia dell’arte, among others.
In recent years he has contributed to prestigious research centers such as the Kunsthistorisches Institut of Florence of the Max-Planck-Institut (01/05/2011-30/06/2011); the Villa I Tatti-University of Harvard (01/04/2014-30/06/2014); Brandenburg Research Academy and International Network (BRAIN)-Marie Curie Fellowship at the Brandenburgische Technische Universität, Germany (01/01/2015-31/12/2016), and the Institute for Pilgrimage Studies at William & Mary in the USA (18/10/2017).
