Miriam Vandenberg

Public Health Lecturer (University of Tasmania) and PhD Candidate, Southgate Institute for Health, Society & Equity, Flinders University

My qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science (Environmental Health) from Flinders University, SA, a Postgraduate Diploma in Health Promotion and Master of Public Health from Curtin University, WA. I've worked for local and sate governments in South Australia, Western Australia and Tasmania in areas related to public and environmental health. I have worked as a Public Health Consultant for the last 10 years, and am currently working as a Public Health Lecturer at the University of Tasmania, in addition to doing my PhD with Flinders University, SA. My PhD research is focused on the health and wellbeing of the informal workforce.
