Morten O. Ravn is a Professor of Economics at UCL. He is a Co-Editor of Quantitative Economics, a Fellow of the European Economic Association, CEPR Research Fellow, and a member of the board of the Danish National Research Foundation.

He holds a cand.oecon (MSc in Economics) degree from the University of Aarhus and a PhD degree from the University of Southampton. Prior to joining UCL, Morten has held positions at the University of Southampton (1995-1997 and 2007-2009) European University Institute (2004-2008), London Business School (1999-2004), Universitat Pompeu Fabra (1997-1999) and at the University of Aarhus (1994-1995).

His research has been published in journals such as the American Economic Review, Econometrica, the Quarterly Journal of Economics, the Review of Economic Studies, Journal of Monetary Economics, Review of Economics and Statistics, Economic Journal and many others.
