Nessa Ghassemi-Bakhtiari

Nessa is a PhD student in developmental psychology at UQAM. Her research focuses on the importance of civic engagement during adolescence and the impact of climate change on the wellbeing of youth. She advocates for the democratization of knowledge and is a co-organiser of pop-science events with Sciences 101 and BistroBrain in Montreal. In her non-academic life, she cultivates a practice in photography, contemporary dance and urban gardening.
