Nga Nguyen

Nga Nguyen joined the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQÀM) in 2021 as an assistant professor of finance. She obtained her PhD in finance from the University of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. She has an MSc. in finance and private equity from London School of Economics, London, UK. Her research interests lie in the intersection of empirical incorporating finance, corporate governance, social responsibility and law. Her research has been presented in leading conferences, including the European Finance Association Annual Meeting, Northern Finance Association Annual Meeting, Paris December Meeting, Financial Intermediation Research Society, and the American Finance Association. Her research was also featured in the Columbia Law School (CLS) Blue Sky Blog. She teaches courses in corporate finance, financial management and international finance.
