I hold a Master’s degree in Epidemiology and Biostatistics and am employed by the Anova Health Institute as an Epidemiologist. I am currently undertaking a PhD in the field of Implementation Science at the University of the Witwatersrand (School of Public Health). I was awarded a scholarship for Implementation Science jointly funded by Fogarty and NIAID from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. My research interest lies in the evaluation of the implementation of public health interventions for disease control. To that end, my PhD research is focused on assessing the implementation of the Ward-based Outreach Teams (WBOTs) in Limpopo Province, in the context of HIV.
