Paula Calvo Soler

Dr. Paula Calvo was born in Barcelona in 1975. She finished her PhD in Anthrozoology in 2017. She graduated in Biochemistry at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) in 2007 . She got her MS in Veterinary Clnical Behaviour by the UAB in 2007 and her MS in Health Applied Clinical Research by the UAB in 2013 . Since 2005 she's been working as behaviourist and dog trainer, focusing on assistance and therapy dogs and behaviour modification in shelter and owned dogs. She is currently a researcher at the Chair Affinity Foundation Animals and Health of the Department of Psychiatry at the UAB, where she performs studies on the nature and features of the human-animal bond (anthropology).
