PhD Candidate, School of Education, The University of Queensland

I am a mature-aged PhD student studying at an Australian university. I come from the Western part of India, the state of Gujarat. I have completed my postgraduate degree in education in 2017 from Gujarat University and came to Australia in 2018. My research examines the in-betweenness in identities of the international Indian students studying in Australia, focusing on their identities as knowledge-holders in a student-staff partnership program in an Australian university. I have presented in many conferences and written across various platforms, including book chapters, newsletters, and blogs. My forte is writing narratives and have presented descriptive vignettes and stories from the participants' recount of their experiences in Australian higher education.

I work as a casual faculty in the same university where I study.
