Rachel Brooks

Rachel Brooks is Professor of Sociology at the University of Surrey, an executive editor of the British Journal of Sociology of Education, and co-editor of the Routledge/SRHE series 'Research into Higher Education'. She has held roles as Head of Department (2012-16) and Associate Dean for the Doctoral College (2017-19). She is a member of the Governing Council of the Society for Research into Higher Education, and of the education sub-panel for REF 2021.
