Raya A. Al-Masri

Raya is a visiting research fellow in the Centre for Environment and Sustainability (CES) at the University of Surrey.

Her research focuses on the governance, institutional, and management aspects of natural resources, particularly the Water-Energy Nexus (WEN) governance. Raya is also a consultant in the development sector, working on projects related to integrated resource management and sustainability and community based environmental solutions. She holds a PhD. in Environment and Sustainability from the University of Surrey, an MSc. in Water and Environmental Management from the University of Bristol, and a BSc. in Civil Engineering from the University of Jordan. Raya is a member in the Charted Institute of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM).
