Roland Pérez

Roland PEREZ (1941) has got a PhD. in Economics (Paris1, 1970) and the national concourse to be an University Professor in Economics and Management Science (1971). He occupied several positions (C.N.R.S. Paris, University of Amiens, University of Montpellier). He is Emeritus Professor since 2003.
R. Pérez occupied several official positions: President of the University of Amiens and Vice-chairman of the French Universities Presidents Conference, Scientific Advisor at the French Ministry of Education, Director of post-graduate Institute at the International Center of Agricultural Mediterranean Advanced Studies (CIHEAM/IAM.M), Director of post-graduate School in “Economic and Management” University of Montpellier.
As a researcher, R. Pérez worked on Corporate Finance and Governance, Industrial and Strategic Analysis. He has managed several research programs in this area. He has specially worked on the strategies of multinational agro-food companies, and on the relations between finance, governance and sustainability. He has published more than one hundred scientific contributions and has managed more than one hundred Ph D. and M.Sc. dissertations committees. R. Pérez is doctor honoris causa and member of several scientific institutions in France and abroad
