Romeo Joe Quintero

Romeo Joe Quintero is a PhD Candidate in Human Geography at York University. He is a research associate at the Centre for Refugee Studies (CRS) and York Centre for Asian Research (YCAR). He is also a research fellow at the Dahdaleh Institute for Global Health Research. Romeo holds an MA in Women's and Gender Studies at Carleton University and a BSocSci Hons in International Development and Globalization at the University of Ottawa. His research explores the placemaking practices of forcibly displaced individuals in different sites of encampments.
