Ryan Matthew Brewer

Associate Professor of Finance, Indiana University

On several occasions spanning well over fifteen (15) years, Brewer has testified as a financial economics expert in the U.S. Federal and Indiana State courts. Brewer has authored or coauthored the Indiana State Economic Forecast for the Indiana University Kelley School of Business for (4) four years running, as well as their National Financial Markets forecast for two (2) years running.

Brewer’s work on valuation, economic damages, economic impact, and forecasting has been published in scholarly journals on (27) twenty-seven occasions, and he has presented his research at conferences in South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Washington D.C., also at Marquette University, the University of North Carolina, the University of Notre Dame, the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, the University of Memphis, and the University of South Carolina, as well as numerous cities across the state of Indiana. Brewer’s work on valuation has been highlighted in the Wall Street Journal on fourteen (14) occasions, and his work has also been showcased in the Chicago Tribune, the Chronicles of Higher Education, CNN, MSN, MSNBC, ESPN, Sporting News, and a host of mid-major regional business periodicals across the United States.
