Sam Walkes

I am a PhD student in Ecology at the University of California, Davis, studying the ecology and evolutionary biology of coastal ecological communities. I have worked on both coasts, conducting research in coastal Maine as an undergraduate at Bowdoin College, and as a summer fellow at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, before beginning work at the Bodega Marine Laboratory as a PhD student where I currently work. I have presented my research at multiple professional academic meetings, including the Benthic Ecology Meeting and the Ocean Science Meeting.
