Sarah Brears

Dr. Sarah Brears is the Regional Associate Dean, Interior for the UBC Faculty of Medicine, a Clinical Associate Professor with the UBC Department of Family Practice, and a Kelowna-based family physician. Dr. Brears provides strategic leadership for Faculty of Medicine’s undergraduate and postgraduate medical education programs and research operations within the Interior Health region. Since 2012, she has championed the evolution and growth of the Southern Medical Program based at UBC Okanagan and served in numerous leadership roles including the Family Practice Site Director and Clinical Experiences Integration Co-Lead. Dr. Brears is also a Canadian Association for Medical Education (CAME) Certificate of Merit Award recipient.
