Associate Professor of Law and Criminology, CQUniversity Australia

I have a practical background in human rights and my academic career has covered both law and criminology as fields of research and teaching. I am presently the head of the Criminology courses at CQ University, which focus on 'changemaking criminology' using methods of social innovation, design thinking and systems thinking.

I am also researching in the field of games and simulations - as ways of learning but also as ways of problem solving and providing innovative solutions to wicked problems. I am developing ways of putting the tools of sim/serious game creation into the hands of those who need them. My Games for Learning blog explores some of these issues and reviews games that can be used in learning and problem solving settings.
