Stefan Bouzarovski

Professor of Human Geography, University of Manchester

Stefan Bouzarovski is a Professor of Human Geography at the University of Manchester, where he directs the People and Energy Programme within the Manchester Urban Institute. He also chairs the European Union Energy Poverty Observatory, as well as the international ENGAGER Action funded by Co-Operation in Science and Technology. He is an internationally leading expert in energy poverty and sustainability policy. His publication portfolio includes over 120 peer-reviewed papers and chapters, three single-author monographs, one co-authored textbook and four edited books. He has provided expert advice to the European Parliament, European Commission, United Nations, World Bank, International Energy Agency as well as numerous governmental and charitable bodies.
